Duckworth Market Rasen

Excellent service/parts department Thumbs Up
Rang up to say my wheel arch trims were 'hanging' at the ends and quickly arranged and fitted new under warranty.

Not so good sales.
While there I asked for a price quote on my car against a 2013 XS SD4 model (pre reg or demonstrator), seriously took the Censored so won't be buying there Sad

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Indus Silver

Seems to be the norm mate. Had really crap PX rates from dealers, beginning to think they are just Censored takers!

In retrospect 'wiz' I probably aimed too high but never expected such a low PX price, seems they want to make as much as possible on re-selling mine (about £2.5 to £3 grand) and probably the same amount when I buy bringing in a combined profit of at least £5 grand on one deal. Shame really because the dealership in other departments is excellent.

Oh well, no rush and I'll look further afield.

E, I sold my d3 in march, all the dealers round here were offering 18-19k with a resale of 25k, in the end I sold to gazillo on the d3 forum a private dealer and got 21k, and paid 19k for freely. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Just had 4th service done on my HSE Auto. Cost was £240 with me supplying filters and oil. I advised I had a problem with the locking/unlocking of the LR detachable swan neck tow bar. They kindly took the swan neck in to the workshop and fitted a new lock FOC. Thumbs Up
Nice coffee, china cup & saucer. Cool

NB: (Free) Loan car was a 63 plate Isuzu Eiger crew-cab pick up. Plug ugly and superbly mediocre on all counts! Felt prehistoric to drive!

Dan sorted me out with a few extras at great value - side mouldings, bib spats and wheel arch trims Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thanks Dan! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

My HSE has just been back for a couple of repairs: Haldex to fix vibration and Engine oil leak. Whilst there some wiring under the engine cover was found to have been attacked by a mouse. A repair was done FOC. Thumbs Up Major work was covered by LR extended warranty Thumbs Up

It is the personal service by Duckworths that makes me happy to travel 40 miles to Mkt Rasen rather than use the two major names much closer!

Loan car was again an Isuzu Eiger. Only 8K miles but oh so shedlike! It was free though! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
