There have been no major mechanical changes to the FL2, as far as I am aware. Perhaps he's getting confused because Haldex Traction has been acquired by Borg Warner, thus it's now a Borg Warner Haldex unit?

I don't think there have been to many on here with Haldex problems, certainly a lot more with Diff Bearings and even more with Clutch and DMF failure. |

thought diff bearings are inside haldex unit so if bearings fail this fault is a problem with the haldex |

The 'Haldex unit' (or active on-demand coupling, as LR call it) is a self-contained unit distinct from the differential, although the two are mounted together at the rear of the car. It is my impression (but I may be wrong) that the majority of bearing failures have affected the diff itself, not the coupling. |

No, the Hercules Clutch is what it needs, in place of the Achilles Clutch it actually has! |
