Basically they are saying they also want to be able to replace any other parts on the braking system I.e. discs when they deem they need changing, so they know that pads are £x amount and you get qty x amount of pads to a set of discs.
So they will also get the disc change at £x amount (to keep the pads 4life warranty)per so many sets of pads: their number crunchers will not loose.


They have not told you the price and if you refuse to have say the discs replaced if they deem it needs them then they will have a get out clause.

extract from T&Cs for the offer

• You must carry out all other brake repairs (to brake discs, drums, cables and hydraulics) found during an inspection or service within 10 days to continue to claim the free replacement.
• We must carry out all brake pad or shoe repairs if you want to take advantage of the lifetime replacement.

says it all really

I wont be using them then. Ive had a few cars an I have only replaced two sets of pads over 15 years or so. Do other brake parts such as calipers and hoses etc fail? I reckon there will be a big mark up on those items. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
