What the heck is that, I thought the cayenne was ugly (at first sight anyway), that looks like an out of proportion 6 series. That is the wierdest looking car I've seen for ages.

Just my thoughts anyway

As I posted over on RRS I think it looks like a pumped up 3 series from the front, a Merc CLS from the side and they stole the rear from Ian Maccallum's Jag and Aston designs - I won't be rushing to chop in my RRS for one, especially at the German price of Euros 75000................................ How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

As I live just 4 miles from BMW UK HQ in Bracknell, I have spotted a red X6 about 4 or 5 times now in the area. In the metal, it looks a lot better, and certainly quite striking. "Crossover" type cars IMHO will become the next big thing, and so I am sure BMW will succeed in the X6. Although putting it above the X5 in terms of market strategy may put it out of most peoples pockets. Chris

Just found this on 4car http://www.channel4.com/4car/rt/bmw/x6/20599/2

I was looking at the pictures, and the side on shot looks like a 3 series hatch back with little wheels. I think it's horrible, but then again, I thought the same with the Cayenne, so I guess it will sell by the bucket load
