2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black

Auxiliary Heater

On my first (57 plate) FL2 I know there was an auxiliary heater (I know because it was disconnected as part of a service call) IT was very effective at making the car warm quicker.

I do not have one on my current (59) S model, but I assume it will be on the 13MY I collect in the next few days? Do people have any comments/experience? It must have been a handy extra recently.

Perhaps they weren't fitted to 'S' models? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Yes, Steve. I'm sure that's the case that the base model didn't have it, but I wanted to check whether it hadn't been deleted from the higher spec cars too.

I read that another manufacturer had deleted this feature on safety grounds, and wondered whether LR have too.
