Depends on a number of factors, including state of charge of the battery, current drain on the battery from touchscreen and any other electrical components that are drawing on it. There is a battery management system which will shut down electrical systems if the level of charge drops below a certain level, can be as little as 3 minutes but more usually about 10. |

Certainly on the Meridian system I have if the cars not run for a couple of days the system shuts down after 3 mins.

Isn't it just a timer on the radio, it doesn't mean your battery is going flat, if you turn the radio off then on again it starts the timer again. Most vehicles have a timer on the radio so you can listen to them for twenty minutes or so without the ignition be in on. Cannot see that charging the battery will change it.
