Freelander 2 Keyfob opening

I need to replace the battery in a 2007 keyfob.
Having read various posts I wondered if there is a "prefered" way of opening the casing so as to cause minimal damage and allow it to be put back together in a working condition.

Thanks.

Two screwdrivers down the key slot and prised apart split casing without damage.Thumbs Up

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver

^^^ Worked for me too.

Actually applied a fairly short sharp amount of pressure and it sprang apart...

Now to see what the problem is
