Poorly Freelander 2

Does anyone admit to owning the silver Freelander 2 I spotted on the back of a recovery truck on the A30 in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire at lunchtime yesterday (2nd Feb. 2008). It looked a little muddy (off-roading?). What broke?
