Mav71, I know where you are coming from but it is not quite that simple. I for one went down the route of a FL2 partly on the economy issue as I was coming from a 2.5 ton Defender that did 25mpg to a 2 ton FL2 which does a lot more, and how much more was of interest to me.

I'll be happy if I get anything over 40mpg on my 62 mile round commute. Mostly M-way at 70mph so should acheive that after its run in a bit... (150 Manual on order)

I appreciate what you are saying. I just found it unbeleivable that a guy near me, sold his perfect 57 plate HSE FL2 with 19000 miles on it for a brand new HSE TD4 (4wd) because the mpg was a little better! Your case is different, I appreciate. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

He must have more money than sense to change car on basis of MPG alone * 1974 Series 3 Lightweight called "Millie" * 2024 Defender 90 D350 on coils! * 1949 80" in family since 1975 I use www.glenrands.co.uk Great independent specialist! |

Just read the complete thread; I wonder if the 190 engine is different to the 150?
