I have just gone for the 140bhp 2.0TDi, I was going for the 170bhp version, but as the 140 is only 115 on the emmisions and the 170 is 125 on the emmsions, the 170 would have cost me about £50 a month more in tax.

So I thought screw that, £50 a month pretty much covers the running costs for the Astra! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Yes, a little dated, but I am not bothered, after three years it will get replaced. I only picked the A3 S-Line Black Edition as it has alot of standard kit.

My other choice was the new Astra SRi VX-Line, whihc is alot better drive, but again the 2.0 CDTi emmisions are 124. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Looking good. Cool SWMBO has a 2008 A3 sportback, it's a good car but I find it a bit boring. Enjoy it (but not as much as the FL2 Whistle )
