A question. - new owner

Question.

If I have the key ithe ignition and want to put the windows down do I need to turn the engine on. Pressing the start button won't bring the aux system up and I have to press the clutch and start the engine.
Im aware of the global opening but some times when in the car I want to get the dash light and aux systems working.

Am I doing something wrong !

Press and hold the start/stop switch without depressing the clutch (manual) or brake pedal (auto). This will turn the ignition on without starting the engine Thumbs Up ______________________

You don't have to start the engine or even depress the clutch.
Just dock the key and hold the start button down until the warning lamps illuminate.
Now you can operate the power window lift.
