Just wondering where I could get a key for my towbar from?

Wasn't supplied one with car and dealer looking into it. However if they don't come up with anything wonder if OEM can supply them (Witter or such like?)

This is the towbar. I think the part number is VPLFT0009: -



Had a quick search around but not found anything. Found the posts about 'clunking' noises whilst towing so interested to see what happens when I get around to pulling a trailer!

Sorry if I am stating the obvious (yes I know, it can be very annoying) but there may be a reference number on the lock barrel which may help. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
- GCS Hawke - Sports, BRG, Vulcan 2.1 inj'. My toy - built it myself in 2001.

I don't know about the key....but when you get the tow bar off you can get that rust sorted!  John

You can buy a new lock complete with keys. When you get it, removing the old one becomes clear.

Just spoke to Thule and they are going to send me a key. Paid £10 + VAT including postage

Like Past master said "So much for towbar security!" I could have been anyone!
