HSE speakers...

Do all HSE's have premium sounds system fitted as standard?

Looking to upgrade the front speakers in mine with some HSE bits which I have found, but guy says he cant remember if they were HK speakers or not...
Is there any way to tell, just by looking at the speakers? I would have thought they would have an HK sticker on them? Question

Thanks in advance

There is a post on here where someone with the HK system on a HSE took a speaker out and found 'Philips' stamped on the back of it. Never bothered me, as I'm very satisfied with the sound output from the HSE no matter who makes them!

IT has Land Rover stamped onto it. Part number is 6H52-18808-AB, and underneath, 9041 754 70002

Kw 22/08-02

Any ideas anyone?

Upgraded my head unit to an HSE one but left the speakers the same and found the sound quality fine. Have borrowed an HSE and tried to compare the two. My opinion is that its too much effort and expense to change the speakers and to get the dealer to configure it all. Also, I'm not sure how accesible the wire is for the centre dash speaker.

I have an 2008 HSE with 8 speakers + sub. It is easy to fit the outer 2 dash speakers. Does anybody know if the wiring is present there or you have to make a new one from the central unit or from the door speaker?
