I'll be watching some/most of it, I also thought the opening ceremony went very well so congratulations to them for that.
What a shame some people love to knock our country back and take great pleasure in any mistakes that happen rather than give a thumbs up to the commitment shown in making this a good event. I suppose those people who watched it felt disappointed that the opening ceremony went so well.
I hate the 'American' type patriotism, but we could learn a little from them and at least support the country we see fit to live in.
Yes, it is a lot of money spent but business is done before, during the event and for some time after so who knows, some good may well come out of it.

Impressive stuff, shows what British talent/industry can do. Without it the whole world could have laughed and remembered forever Britian for that pathetic opening ceremony in 2012.

Perhaps a giant chicken surrounded by golden wheat should have emerged from the ground as a celebration of British farming .

This is going to be a year of food shortages so start being nice to us farmers. droughts in USA, wet rotting crops in Europe
