Smoking pack and illuminated vanity mirror.

hi,

Just changed my order to include these with my FL2 because they are No cost Options Thumbs Up , but the Smoking pack comes with a cigar lighter. Has anybody got this and where does it go in the dash/centre console?

I am assuming it goes into a power socket , but apart from visual ,will there be any other differences i.e can I still use it as a normal socket?

Cheers. Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.

Here in Italy I think they come the smoking pack as standard. The lighter is into the front power socket (I removed it) and of course you can use your socket normally. No differences at all. They simply add two removable ash-trays very useful to story keys or little items. They are fitted in the central tunnel, so no changes with the standard version.

Cheers Attox,

It was the ashtrays that I wanted ( as storage for my 6 years olds bits and bobs) but as a non smoker I do not need the cigar lighter and did not want to lose any features etc.

I am hoping the UK spec is as yours and I can simply bin the cigar lighter.

It just worried me that they said Cigar and not Cigarette!

Perhaps it's to do with Land Rover owners being Posh or something! Wink Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.

Cheers Northen Monkey,

Dont' worry. You are not loosing any features. Everything is exactly the same, with the smoking packgage they give two removable ashtrays that just fit into two of the smaller cup holder and one lighter that you can disregard.

Hi Northern Monkey.

Just ask the dealer to swap the cigar lighters for the 12v socket plug caps,i also had the the cigar lighters in my fl2 and the dealer was more than happy to swap them over.

Northern Monkey,

there is a small difference: the front power socket that comes with the lighter is powered only when engine is running whilst back power socket is always powered.
By the way, I use the front power socket to power my GPS that nicely fits the hole in the dashboard
