United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Rimini Red
DAS Horley & Harwoods, Edenbridge, Kent

Last week DAS of Horley were due to enable my towing module for a very resonable amount. DAS checked and found there is an outstanding recall to remap the auto box (Q106) and suggested I contact the main dealer and have them enable the electrics at the same time. Excellent of DAS to alert me and forego the work - I am encouraged by their straight dealing and will go back to them for that reason.

Harwoods of Edenbridge managed to book the car in quickly before I go away on (a well earned) holiday. No courtesy car available at short notice but they offered to do it first in the morning while I waited - free coffee and wi-fi, TV etc. and enabled the towing electrics free of charge to offset the recall inconvenience.

A great service from both! - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
- GCS Hawke - Sports, BRG, Vulcan 2.1 inj'. My toy - built it myself in 2001.

I've used Harwoods Edenbridge since 2000, when they were known as Testers. Always had excellent service, very accommodating and good to deal with. I'm on my 5th car from them and I'd receommend them to anyone. They might be part of a larger group now, but the team at Edenbridge keeps it real and looks after customers well. And no, I haven't been asked to say this but I'll speak up for anyone who does well by me.

Andy S,
Unfortunately I have had a less than positive experience of Harwoods in the past few weeks. £114 to tell me a fuse had blown !! Don't know why I have lost HDC etc. Pathetic. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.

Sorry to hear that. Was it Harwoods of Edenbridge that let you down? If so I am very surprised. They are always straight with me, but I can't speak for what other parts of the Harwoods empire are like. The Edenbridge branch used to be an independent called Testers and the customer care hasn't suffered from going into a group, as I feared it might.

Yes, it was Harwoods at Edenbridge. They were about as much use as a chocolate tea pot ! - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
