Hi I have a freelander Black 2010. After 400 miles the seat base split and the covering which is cloth type ran into the split. Wet to Rocas Moores Land Rover agents and the seat base was re placed under warranty. The cover looked stretched and wrinkled up so went back at 1300 miles and this time a new cover was fitted. After a short time this cover became very slack so back again I went and they told me they had to replace base and cover. After some time the same happened again I had problems with the original garage so went to another agent as requested by Land Rover customer service Went there this week and new cover and base fitted. Drove 25 miles home and the seat was again slack and this tim,e very loose. It is apparent that dealers do not fit the covers and bases like the factory do. Has anyone had problems and what should I do next Customer service say take it back again but the dealers don t seem to grasp the nettle Many Thanks Dave

Assume youre not a fat belly Jones? I think the seats are designed to cater for 26 stones and no more?

to be honest I have a black cloth seat & its done 21000 miles but looks like its done 210,000
Appalling quality and appalling service. Mines all fluffed up at the back and creased and sunk.
totally utterly disillusioned.
You need to kick ars* until they sort it !

If you've got cloth seats, there's a much better (and much more radical) solution!

That is surprising, especially when you look at what the factory fit cost is. I did admire the two-tone leather that another chap on here had, (name escapes me). I am giving serious thought to a retro fit.

My fleet FL2 is on order, will arrive in July, sit in some landfill somewhere until October when I am allowed to get hold of it.
