Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

In the evening the day before the end of the month, i used to display both tax discs overnight whilst parked on a public highway.

Probably also an offence, but if it came to court i'd rather hope common sense would prevail and 'no case to answer'. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

its a busy lane what with chicken feed deliveries, wheat and oilseed rape lorries etc etc, and the local groupie women who like to drive past my house just to catch a glance of me  At work

As far as I am aware the offence is a failure to display a valid vehicle excise disk.

So put both in the window before the old one expires, you are still showing the valid disk. Then remove the expired one after the date. Prog rock is cool!

This came to me in the middle of the night. My apologies if someone has already suggested it.

When you get your new tax disc, tape it to the window alongside your old one. After the old one has expired throw it away and put the new one in the holder.

cg might get his drive tarmacked cheap off the pikies if he offers them free camping on his land for a week or so  rainy-city

and the feckers would nick all my tools , the chickens and the dog when they left, the tarmac would then all wash off in the first thunderstorm.
