Hi All

I've just fitted a Witter fixed flange tow bar with single dedicated electrics to our FL2.

As I had to disconnect the battery when plugging the electrics for the tow bar into the car (as per instructions) the single touch close option on our front electric windows now doesn't work. The instructions did say that the disconnection may affect the windows and sun roof and they may need calibrating.

Is this something that I can do and if so how??? The last thing I want to do is take it to a main stealership.

Seems that Bucks is the place at the moment for Towbar fitting, did mine last weekend, glad I did its absolutly It down all day.

If its the dedicated electrics you will still need the dealer it enable them fully

Hmmm did I mention this is the first work I've done on a car

Have to say I didn't think to check the manual for how to do it as it's never helped with anything else.

Well I've gone from hero to zero with the other half, she's currently as I've just read your responses out.

It's OK...back to hero again, followed the advice of RTFM (used it so much myself in the past) and went out to the car on my own.

I forgot to mention how 'complex' the reset was going to be to the other half.

I spent five minutes checking my own manual to ensure the reset section was in there , imagine how impressed she was when after six minutes I walked back into the house and annonced that I had fixed it!
