Clicking sound when i press the break

Hi everyone ... just a quick question.
Does anyone experience a "clicking" sound coming from the gear handle when the car is in 'P' and the break is applied? I have an automatic car. everytime i press the break i hear this click sound when the car is in park mode.
I'd love yo hear what you guys have to say Smile

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Narvik Black

The click is from the selector inhibit actuator.fitted to only engage drive gears when the footbrake is pressed when stationary, and is normal.
