went in to Town County Aberdeen to look at a Freelander 2 demonstrator but it was SOLD, so managed to get a deal on a new FR2 GS with winter pack, arm rest pack, side steps and mud flaps, spare wheel

with my NFU discount 3% and batering hard i managed to get a good deal i think, my trade in price went from £9500 to £11000 with half price side steps and mudflaps with free fitting also free full size spare wheel, when i asked for a tow bar the sales man just about exploded so i guess i pushed the deal as far as it was going to go

delivery date March sometime 1995 P38 now dead

if it lasts as long as my (P38 1995-2012 RIP) did then it should be good value,

forgot to say its a manual gearbox and i did read the thread debate about (auto verses manual)

sorry dunroof but thats as much figures as i am going to share, it gives you a idea that the prices are by no means fixed and everything is negotiable,

i was working the other way round by ditching the colour to get the extras i don't like black,green,red,blue, grey is alright as long as its not to dark, so that left silver or white, 1995 P38 now dead

i wish the P38 was worth that even at £1500 that's still a good price but its dead and scraped

i traded a Audi a4 tdi it will not clear the pot holes in the farm track, so have to make sure nothing falls off in the next few months 1995 P38 now dead
