Hi tenet, second the claying, give the car a good wash, then go over it with the clay bar, think there's a good selection of them available in Halfords |

Just searched DW, lots say the impact damage could have cracked the lacquer, dented the bodywork and the egg shell is very abrasive

Hit something with something hard and you will get one Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Use liquid detergent, not granular as that could cause scratches too |

Get hold of some "Werkstat Acrylic Glos" it's not cheap but a tiny amount goes a long way.
