Seems there was only one attacker, (his brother bravely watched from his car), He was arrested and charged with assault last week, in court next week.

I still cant remember a thing about the attack after being dragged down from behind. A+E doc said bruises on my chest correspond to having my collar pulled hard, All I know is I woke up lying on the pavement.

The good news is the attacker is now barred for life from our village pubs and the ones in surrounding villages as well. Everyone locally is sickened by what happened to me.

My black eye has fully gone now, I still feel the rib bruises , and the joint on one finger is very sore still.
