Homelink ® (Door Opening) System
We are pleased to announce a new feature called Homelink ® is now available for Freelander 2 10MY
The system is dependable on the Auto–Dimming Interior View Mirror with Humidity sensor (031CZ) being fitted therefore is only available GS, XS and HSE only.
The Homelink ® System is a universal transmitter fitted to the underside of the interior rear view mirror. This transmitter can be programmed to operate up to 3 home or office wireless controlled systems, such as garage doors, automatic gates, or security lighting. By replacing the individual remote control units normally required for each system, the driver no longer needs to search the car interior for the correct handset when needed.
Pricing
The price of the Homelink ® system is £170.21 list price with £29.79 VAT and a retail value of £200.00) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Press them and find out, they will either open your garage door or if not prepare to be ejected.

Thanks for the posts and links .The home link sounds quite feasible as when you press the buttons a little green light flashes. Shame i don't have the gates or garage door to go with them'

So they steel your car, press home on the sat nav and open the garage to also clean out your house. Very convenient... Bow down

If it was anything like a previous thread - even with the keyfob they probably won't be able to star the car in the first place - unless you know where the dock is you would probably not easily find it. Thumbs Up 2002 Honda VFR800

No photos, but if you haven't noticed it yet I doubt if you have it, if you do have it there will be three buttons along the bottom edge of the rear view mirror. Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
