2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
Best-Looking Skibox

What is the best-looking skibox for the Freelander? I'm looking for the same chiseled lines as the car body and for a colour close to stornoway grey. Also, is there a discrete third-party roof-rack that is lower than the factory original? 2007 Freelander 2 HSE i6

I think the Thule X1 looks nice and would suit the FL2 well (size 190x90x38) might be a little small in length

Some companies can offer a roofbox matching to paint them the same colour as the car

If your wanting low profile and don't mine having the skis exposed to the ellements and flying stones from the car in front i have seen Magnetic ski holders

which look simular to these

At least you would be able to remove them once at resort Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks npinks! I was thinking of something without the accentuated details, just the plain chiseled lines that the cars body also have. Something in the lines of the Autoform* box that is in the picture gallery. Also, the magnetic rack is fine, but I'm looking for a more secure low-profile roof rack that attaches without the factory roof bars.
