Is there a separate Bluetooth Module?

I asked the main dealer if they up date the HSE entertainment system software on a service and was told "NO". My iPhone 4 will not connect. Sad

I was then told they could up date it for me but would cost £175 + VAT, as it a 1.5 hours download Rolling Eyes before configuration. The service guy said that it's probably cheaper to change the Bluetooth Module for one off a late model Freelander 2.

Is he correct about a separate Bluetooth Module and has anybody done this?

They updated my phone system when I was in waranty on my 1st FL2 as it would not connent to a phone on the published LR list and the phone wash running the correct software

If in warranty check if your is?

But yes I believe there is a Bluetooth modual too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Good Grief! Are they really going to charge you for 1½ labour whilst the computer does the download? Sorry I can't answer your original question though.

Looking on the lrparts.net.ru site there are 8 bluetooth modules depending on chassis number
