FL2 comes in at no 6 FL2 HSE Sumatra black with body kit

I'd feel a bit more confident in their advice if they were to get the picture right! Still good news all the same.

Frankly I don't place any credence on any matter published in a daily newspaper whose editorial policy is led by the 1922 Committee. It's rather like asking the Murdoch's to run the Ministry of Truth.

But sadly if you click on the link Land Rover as a marque come last out of 36 manufacturers
But Chevrolet are the most reliable manufacturer...how times change!

Remember though this data is from Warranty Direct (spell check warranty ) so the vehicles will all be over three years old after LR warranty has expired, so a lot of the data will relate to the original Freelander.

Consumer surveys (Which?, JD Power) usually show that the FL2 is significantly more reliable than anything else that Land Rover make, usually placing Land Rover around a 1/5th from the bottom of the survey. Much as I might like the idea of a Disco or Range Rover, this aspect would worry me...

The reliability of the Disco worries you It scares the hell out of me, even more so because of the dealer I have near me and the grief from SWMBO if it broke down

I really hope it works out well for you. Must as it might scare me, I'd be straight down to the Land Rover dealer (given a much larger budget than I have now) and would ignore all of the alternatives!

They have got the right photo (I think!!) it is a 2006 Freelander - NOT a FL2. Hope I rread that right otherwise I'd look a bit stupid

It's referring to it as "2006 - " , which, judging by what is written about other cars, seems to mean "2006 to date", so that would mean the FL2.

Sir, I am very able to follow the link provided and I am in full prowess of all my faculties. I stand by my comments. What is evident is that no member of either (the aforementioned bodies) are on the Board of Tata. Opportunistic oeuvre oligopoly does not lend itself to objectivity.

My advice: never take surveys or newspaper reports at face value or you'll end in a communication's rutted ruse.

RRS or Eternal Damnation. Which of the two is the best place to be embodied?

I'll take eternal damnation as at the very least it won't be the subject of a survey.
