Whilst you're at it Martin can you change the default language to ENGLISH and not as it is American. I am of the opinion that as the language default is currently set it is promoting the degradation of some members ability to use this nation's language to best written effect and corroding their spelling skill set. Idea

The site's default language is English, where are the Americanisms?

Thanks for the comment. I occasionally get the text under-scribed in red in the post text field. In disbelief I check with the OED and the spelling I have given is English and the the websites spell checker demands the American version. I'll monitor this and will let you have (if I remember - owd age) an example.

Note: This does not happen always - so I can now, after your confirmed that the setting is indeed "English", relate these occurrences to an error in the spell checker's software's lexicon.

That's a setting in your browser Athelstan, not on the site.

Change your browser's dictionary to British English.

Martin - this Englishman does not entertain any colonial variant of the English language to reside on my browser. Truly indigenous foreign languages are installed due to the multilingual abilities of this family, and they function completely independently from each other. The problem only occurs in English - our Macs and Safari are set British English, but, the FL2 site does on occasion object and defers the spelling to US English. For this I have no explanation. Of all the user websites I engage in, this spelling presently only manifests itself on Freel2.com.

My referral to it was only a request - I can live with the irritant should there be no resolution.
