We have just returned to Cumbria from a 4 night trip down south .Wed /Thurs Stratford and Fri/Sat Cambridge.So if you saw a shiny new Santorino Black it may have been me. Very Happy

I've had been a member of two other car forum for the last 6 years and have never seen it used before.

hi rorsters, think it stands for Manufacturing Year. although we are in the year 2011, come September / October time LR will be producing MY2012 FL2's . Think thats how it works, Iam sure if its incorrect one of the other more informed members will come along and correct me

MY = Model Year

Basically a model, MY2010 old style bumper and the MY2011 new style etc etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

MY = Model Year
Therefore you could have an 08MY built in 09 for example.
VM's also often split MY to coincide with launch date ie 2011 and a half MY but it's not generally cascaded to the general public. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Once I was at a project in a satelite company and going home was in an elevator with the big boss of the main company, some other people and a collegue who was to retire in a few months.
