My delivery date for my SD4 HSE in Orkney Grey has been confirmed as 1 Sep - the day after I get back from Afghanistan - Happy Days Thumbs Up

On a seperate note, the Landrover off road driving days - do dealers usually offer them to new customers or are you expected to pay for them?

Likewise, I have ordered an SD4 HSE in Orkney Grey. Ordered end of May and due 30 August - I hope!

Regarding Land Rover Experience days, I was offered one by phone some while ago and I am going to Honiton this Friday as it happens. When I asked if it was because I was buying a new model, they knew nothing about it. I think my name 'went into the hat' because I had requested a brochure. I think it is a pretty random system and you have to get lucky.

BTW, I saw a FL2 in Orkney Grey recently at my local dealer (a cancelled order). I was very happy with the colour and prefer it to Stornaway. It is a shade lighter and can almost be described as a dark silver. I'm sure it will be very popular.

Thumbs Up Thanks mate - I am buying through Landrover Military Sales and rest assured, I will be pressing them hard for an off road experience for me and the long haired general. I'll let you know how I get on.

I bought both mine through Military Sales, first one in 2007 I got a bottle of champagne, second one in 2010 only got the usual, full tank of fuel, rubber mats, first aid kit, warning triangle and a spare bulb set which oddly enough didn't include a spare Xenon bulb. If you manage to blag an off road experience voucher from them Id recommend trying for East of England near Corby, Northants over Luton Hoo.

Just got quoted 4-6 months for delivery by my dealer. Meanwhile a colleague has ordered an Evoque and been told to expect delivery in about 8 months from now.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Scott123 Plenty of eD4's 2WD on Auto trader, mostly about 2000 miles, but there's one with 150 miles on the clock. all appear to be GS spec rather than HSE.
