Mirror covers

Am I right in thinking that if I bought some primed mirror covers and had them sprayed , that they stick on over the top of the original black mirror,

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Yes but Laughing
The new 2011 my upgrade changed the design of the mirrors so assuming your car is before this as EV says, yes you can just stick covers over the existing plastic.

fyi - Stornoway grey supplied fully painted by LR is part number LLR004837, about £60. If your car is a different colour maybe you could quote this number to them and they could then search around it for your colour.

Thanks all, havent got my car yet, it's a new order and coming in September, fingers crossed, just seeing what the job intails, if not to expensive will get the dealer to do it just did not want the mirrors pulled apart and things not going back as it should be,
