Unless someone knows different it will display the days remaining when it is ready, I don't think you can press a button and it will tell you, the book says it will display the number of miles or days, my 07 one displayed the number of days remaining when that has expired it will display a - then the number of days overdue. \mine used to tell me 26 days from.

Service intervals
An upcoming service interval will be notified to
the driver in one of two ways. As a distance left
to travel, or a number of days remaining. Once
the distance or time are exceeded the display
will show a negative value (-) to indicate that a
service is overdue.
When the ignition is turned on the Odometer
display will show the service information for
five seconds.

This is of course if the dealer reset it on the last service or has not had a service out of sync and not reset.

When did yours come up and tell you how many days before your service?

26 Days which then just gives you enough time to arrange the service and a courtesy car with the dealer if your lucky.

Just wondered what would happen if you never bothered to have it serviced, does it eventually say enough is enough and stop you going anywhere, or would it say you should have had this serviced 5 years ago?

Mind you I did hear they give you a loyalty stamp in your service book. Whistle

And it appears that future buyers are swayed by loyalty stamps.

I was told that the loyalty stamp from an approved garage isn't as sought after.

Must admit it has never put me off buying the vehicle I wanted - rely on test drive etc.... 2002 Honda VFR800
