unfortunately, depending on their ages, there is nothing much you can do, camera or not.

it's really up to the parents to guide them in the right direction, and if the parents are not on your side then you are on a hiding to nothing !!

While your thinking on who could have done it,

Another person could be the chap who bought the shaddow chromes off you for £900, then realised he could have got them for £699. obviously a little miffed and took revenge

Just an idea, not saying that this person would do such a thing Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

IMO unless there is proof, there's no point in casting blame on somebody TBH

its not going to be cheap to fix, my dealers paint shop quoted best part of £600 to do my car and that was keyed, not written on which i presume will need more work to sand back and paint Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Sorry to hear about the damage,
As its letters I am sure a 'hand writing' expert should be able to match it to another set of writing. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

R.E Security - it seems that you are damned if you do & damned if you don't!! In theory it should put most idiots off doing things they shouldn't.

I have been to the bodyshop & as expected anyway as with most repairs the panel either side needs to be blended otherwise yes it will stick out.
R.E the shadow chromes there is a seller on ebay (I forget who but it may be 4x4 parts direct) that had shadow chromes last week for £985.00.

The little sh*tes next door to me watched me spend a good 3 hours giving my car a quick once over.

I went out a hour after i had finished as i left my Ipod in the car and noticed they had decided to colour in the letters on the boot handler with permanent marker, colour in the 00's on my reg plate and write all over the back window again in black marker "ha ha not so f**king clean now". to say i hit the roof was an under statement.

I have rigged up a small camera now to a LP VCR so i can watch it.

Mine is Rimini red as well, scum must be attracted to them!

Luckly they left my 3 hour old new company car alone! Kia Sorento 2.2, nice but not as nice as my Freel2

Not sure what I would do there, though I do know I would be less than impressed. Censored (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

the set of Censored

You say rear wings have they walked around the car and done both sides Shocked

guess you have had a look, as you say its down to the undercoat, car you feel the scratch with your finger nail? if not it might just be the clear coat which which does look white when scratched and might polish out Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

maybe it's revenge for ....

"cutting up caravan towers when you finally get past them is also more than permitted"

"middle lane driver here but with an eye on the mirror, no point in pulling over if there is no one behind."

"middle lane for me. truck lane is too bumpy/ rutted bit with an eye on the mirror to make sure nobody is coming up behind. or more in truth fast lane all the way with an eye on the mirror

" why do you feel the need to pull right into lane 1 on an empty road? just stay in 2, so you can overtake blokes like that easily , what ever lane you want is fine by me aslong as you use the mirrors and pull over where appropriate.
People who get annoyed by middle laners cause way more problems than the middle laners themselves. "
