back in the day the Opel Manta GTE was the car to have[/quote]

Have been driving the manta several times! great car, expensive in tires, but never owned one.
having a good dealer with crazy prices made that i bought all these opel's, untill they made cars I didn't like to see and I found a LRdealer giving enough reductions to buy a land rover. Fl2 zermattsilver TD4 S man

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Sumatra Black

College years

1987 – 1987 Ford Escort Mk 2 Three door

New Job
1988 – 1990 Yellow XR3 Slightly Tweaked with exhaust and KN filters Thumbs Up
1990 – 1992 Blue XR3i not that impressed
1992 – 1993 Vauxhall Astra SR very lukewarm and wrote off by a reversing truck
1993 – 1997 Ford Fiesta XR2i slightly tweaked not bad

Getting married and 2 new house’s

1997 - 1999 Ford fiesta 1.1L (wouldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding) Embarassed
1999 – 2000 Peugeot 205 (wife gets the new car so I get wife’s cast off) Embarassed Embarassed
2000 – 2003 Nissan Micra Mk2 (relative selling cheap not bad and fast around town)
2003 – 2009 Nissan X -Trail ( Not bad gets me the wife and the dogs places we need to go)
2009 – present Land Rover Freelander 2 (gets me the wife and the dogs places we need to go, only in more comfort ) Thumbs Up

Most fun car ( apart from my current Fl2) was Talbot Samba, some may giggle , but that little car could fly once did Durham to Billingham in under twenty minutes on back roads, would stick to the road like glue
