The dascam is great but the wash kit means you have to wash the car to avoid upsetting the person especially if it is the MIL, but I don't suppose the MIL will give anything as useful as a dashcam. Call me humbug.

Not specifically car related but I got a portable power pack thingy that charges from a USB port (so can be used in the FL2), should help power hungry devices when away for a few days. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Daughter #2 gave me a load-space storage organiser to replace the assorted plastic crates.
Daughter #1 gave me a new pair of steel toe-capped wellies which will live in the load-space storage organiser, so hopefully not off-topic!
And I bought the FL2 a GAP Diagnostics Blue-tooth scan tool - which is great fun, but slightly addictive! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

I ordered some projector puddle lights from ebay some time ago, they arrived today and were fitted in a few mins.
Delighted with the results.

No problems with the washing, find it very therapeutic and actually look forward to it ! Thumbs Up Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

had them but after a year the pattern started to fade until you just see a blurry green white spot,
After that i just pulled off the land rover template inside and got a strong white light so i kept it like that and after 2 years it is still working
