Orlando heat

Greetings all. Going to Orlando on honeymoon on 30th August for 10 nights.

I went to California, Arizona and Nevada on a tour 10 years ago and have experienced higher temps there than Orlando can offer but that is a dry desert heat. The humidity is a key factor in Orlando, plus it is hurricane season so I have taken out natural disaster cover as part of the insurance.

Anyone been at that time of year and can give me a heads up as to how bad the heat is? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Congratulations, or indeed best wishes for your big day.
It will be hot and clammy and it will probably rain most days in short sharp bursts, potentially with thunder storms.
Air con indoors is welcome.
To my mind it's more bearable than a very dry hot climate.

It's fantastic though. 👍 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Thanks guys Thumbs Up Looking forward to it. We might fit Miami in as well. There's a train which runs direct from Orlando. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
