Yes, I thought it was a reference to a CAD drawing also but have drawn a blank with everyone here! I have put in a request via LR technical but have heard nothing so far.

TIM/CAV, C2MM25B - electrical schematic indicates various position 15-30 being populated so a assume it has to be at least a 30 position connector, am I correct in this assumption??

EDIT/CORRECTION
Just saw your text below pic of C2MM25B port, it is 30 position, sorry Thumbs Up MY15

I've found an early TIM WERS no DPLA-10F845-AF from a 2015 F Type X152, which should be with me early next week. Once I have it in hand I will take it apart and try and find some more info on that connector.

It is worth noting that the notches in the top (bottom on the photo as it is upside down) suggest two locking latches. The encapsulating shielding, gold plated edge pins and 24+6 split configuration does look like an AV connector to me.

I do wish manufacturers would all print part nos on their parts! AMP even print part nos on their component parts making IDing a breeze.

Does anyone know who ultimately makes JLR and most PAG infotainment systems? I think it is almost certainly Delphi as they appear to make the IAM2.1 system. (https://www.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA3811523.PDF) They have a close relatioship with JLR for many of the connected systems in our cars and have demoed JLR vehicles with bespoke Delphi infotainment systems at car shows, etc. Delphi MyFi might be the tech underpinning incontrol.

http://delphi.com/manufacturers/cv/connection-systems/catalog may be useful to look through.

DPLA-10F845-AF, DPLA-10F845-AG were the first CAV/TIM modules in MY15 LR/JAG and are superseded by the latest version LR073263, are you able to translate to WERS?

Only other reference re infotainment manufacturer is Denso which appears as a ccf edit in my ccf but I think this has more to do with the touchscreen.

You guys are so spoilt for acquiring parts in the UK! Laughing Like rocking horse Censored here!!!!

Currently JLR are running 2 platforms the IAM 2.1 and the new "InControl Touch & Touch Plus/Pro. They both look the same but the Meridian system runs on the IAM 2.1.

"InControl Touch" is just the name for the non-Merridian touchscreen platform. There is two levels [Touch & Plus(LR)/Pro(Jag)]. Its a bit bloody confusing.

This is not to be confused with InControl Apps, InControl SOS, InControl WIFI, InControl Secure.

In Australia/JLRA we only have InControl Apps and i was told this week that there is no plans to roll out any other of the InControl suite in AU currently. MY15

Have managed to extract a healthy supply of pigtails to populate my new plug C2mm25A.
I'm a bit embarrassed though as you can see I had to absolutely destroy the donor plug Embarassed . I managed to get about 6 pins out conventionally but the others refused and now have fingers covered in band-aids and puncture wounds Embarassed I think i'll run next time i see another one of these plugs Evil or Very Mad
Now it's back to my chassis harness to see if i can't find some correct colour code wiring to solder to the pigtails that match. Bit OCD but that's me!

DPLA-10F845-AG was in the Evoque that we scanned and is the earlier part number succeeded by LR073263?

Or was is DPLA-14c552-AD?

The Evoque had the superseded model to LR073263? MY15

Aha, yes.

LR066086 is superceded by LR073263

So...

DPLA-10F845-AF = LR066086 = T4N8038

DPLA-10F845-AG = LR073263

But interesting that the Jag number T4N8038 does not show with a supercession (still available to order).

BUT there is a later module T4N13109 which I assume to be the DPLA-10F845-AG

In the F-Type at least, there is a definite cutoff in the parts.

There is also a predecessor too.

DPLA-10F845-AC = LR049196 = T4N4538 and these are superceded to the later versions. Should also be backwards compatible 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

lol, my search just got that little bit harder, or is that easier Rolling Eyes Rolling with laughter

So is there a "A, B, D and E"? Or is that what your implying by "backward compatible"? MY15

Well the deeper you look....

DPLA-10F845-AC = LR049196 = T4N4538
DPLA-10F845-AE = LR060391 = T4N6393
DPLA-10F845-AF = LR066086 = T4N8038
DPLA-10F845-AG = LR073263 = T4N13109

That's all I can find...

And by backwards compatible I mean those modules will all do the same thing and most likely you can flash the firmware from the latest version into an earlier one. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

The TIM arrived today so I took it apart. The connector is a Mitsumi part.

Go to http://www.mitsumi.co.jp/latest/Catalog/co...car_e.html and expand Rectangular Interface Connectors.

Australia 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Aintree Green

Hi XDave,

Firstly, I put in a request via the Land Rover head tech here regarding an Overlay harness from TIM C2MM25B to InControl Apps Interface plate C3ME37E and as I suspected LR came back with "no Over lay harness available" and that I would have to purchase Instrument Panel Harness LR077413 which is 700 pounds worth.
My only other option here is to go through, possibly, site sponsor Dan at Duckworths to see if JLR UK can come up with something as obviously JLRA can't help.

Thank you for going to the trouble of dismantling the TIM and identifying the plug, that is definitely the correct plug series. To be honest with you I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment and not sure how to proceed. As it's looking unlikely LR has an over lay harness, how do I go about ordering plug/harness from Mitsumi or finding someone who can? Any guidance you can give me here XDave be very useful! I could run it buy the firm who are sourcing the GVIF cables! I suppose I'm thinking out loud here at the moment. Laughing

I have the InControl Apps Interface panel on order so possibly be here by Friday, if not early next week so I
will be able to take detailed pictures of the plug (coming from the UK). Very Happy

Again, very appreciative of your help here XDave. Thumbs Up MY15

Try T4N10316. It is shown as from C2MM25B (TIM) to C3ME37E (USB/AV panel) on an XE/X760. Length is 2730mm, which from your image below is slightly longer (better than being slightly shorter!)

Thxs XDave, link harness T4N10310 is on order Thumbs Up
It's coming by Royal Mail so not sure how long that will take, you guys probably no more about your mail service than I! Laughing
Will post pic of InControl Apps USB plate and harness when they arrive.
Just astounds me how Jaguar list a "link harness" whereas LR only as full harness for same system! MY15

I'm sure LR do have a suitable overlay - almost all of the non-servicable AV cables are available as overlays, but the problem is that historically they have been very poorly categorised in the EPCs, and most dealers don't bother to put requests in to JLR corporate to hunt down parts. More recent model years (2014-ish onwards) have them catalogued by connector reference which makes locating them out of a list of 200 generic "link harness" items much easier!

LR parts are usually cheaper than Jag ones, even for the exact same part. I always try and find the LR number where I can to compare costs.

I've now got a phone connect USB panel for an F Type to hand, which is visually identical to the LR part you are getting (and is branded with both names on the moulding. The two connectors are the Mitsumi parts above with the cable-housing for the phone USB side being IAM-F30.

If it was sent Royal Mail your harness will have left the UK by now. What else do you need? Are you still missing any cables?
