Can anyone tell me if it's possible for me to reset the indicator on my Freel 2?

Yes it's easy.

Take to dealer.
Wait 6 hours while they change the oil and filter and reset the service indicator.
Open wallet and part with small fortune.

Most companies who service cars should be able to do this. Give your local independant garage a call, and see if they can do it

Whilst waiting for my wife who was shopping I got bored and was playing with the settings on my Laguna trip computer etc. If you hold it down for about two seconds the data resets, if you select the screen that shoes miles left till service and hold it down for five seconds you get a free 18000 mile service

My service due in xxxxx miles was reset to 18000.

When I first bought a Renalt I thought an 18000 mile interval was great, unfortunatly it couldnt go 18 days without a trip to the dealers...

Well FUD As you are Scotish (I'm guessing) and I'm currently in my tin box off the coast of Scotlandshire surrounded by your (probable) countrymen where the word fud is commonly used I thought it quite appropriate Intrestingly you used numpty as it is as far as I can work out the literal meaning of fud... Clearly we are both on the same wavelength
