United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Orkney Grey

Blue Fin comes on a handset which is plugged into the OBD port. The process moves the original map onto the handset for storage and moves the modified map into ECU. If you want to return the car to standard map, you just plug it in and reverse the process. You can put modified map back on again whenever you want. The process takes about 10 -15mins.

I have run Bluefin on 3 Freelanders now probably nearly 200K used same handset with new maps for each car and no problems other than clutch on 1st manual, but then plenty of non chipped cars have had the same issue. No diff issues yet Whistle 1998 Feelander XDI Hardback - Gone

I have used Blue Spark boxes on my BMWs with good results. They have offered to re-jig my BMW box to suit the FL2 for £60

Why does someone always have to say this ....

Most of us on here have been driving for a number of years! I can understand if this was a Polo forum and that we're all 17...just passed our driving test and that we don't realise that insurance companies should always be notified!

Yep, very much a good idea. Thumbs Up

Are you aware that a lack of CAT when originally fitted is an MOT failure on diesels too now? Plenty of places won't notice though and/or you could get a de-cat pipe with a fake CAT on it. Wink Freelander 2 2007 TD4 Manual HSE Tambora Flame

Easy way to test if dummy cat fitted.
Check temperature with laser temperature meter. Cat should be much higher than pipe before and after cat.
Have used this for diagnostic since cat became common. All FL2's (3) Gone
