Heck of a BANG, and the lots of black smoke!

Travelling home today, with our caravan following. Stopped at some uphill traffic lights near Luton. Pulled away and an almighty bang and clouds of black smoke. Managed to clear the junction, and pulled over, fortunately it was a dual carriage way! Warning triangles out. Rang Mayday and explained the problem.
Someone is on the way I was told.
20 minutes later a green flag van arrived!
Explained what had happened.
He opened the bonnet and spotted that the hose from the inter cooler had come adrift! Ten minutes later all was running correctly again. He followed us for a few miles to make sure all was well.
Then we were on the M4, cruising at a steady 60.
Well done green flag and my faithful Freelander 2 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

Certainly relieved! Especially as it did not cost anything to repair! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

This used to happen a lot on my old td5 especially when towing my van, I got a Mikalor clamp to replace it and it never happened again.
