Been out today, not too far. It was great to drive, really looking forward to our visit to Northumberland and the Pennines next week.

Nice one, great part of the world up there, took a bitch up to Northumberland to mate 4 years ago, if I was ever lucky enough to win the lottery jackpot and buy myself a place with lots of land and of course consider moving over to the dark side, that's one place I would definitely explore as a possibility! Thumbs Up

Love the wide open spaces of Scotland but I'll make do with Northumberland for now! Have been loving my new Freelander, just commuting to work has become more pleasurable somehow Rolling with laughter

I must get up to Scotland, went over the border once in 2015 to pick up a tractor for forestry work with my keeper mate, had the best chip shop chips ever, in a small town back just south of the border, my mate, my son and myself almost orgasmed when we took our first chips, we believe they were cooked in good old fat, not the pathetic oil they use these days! Should get up there again, my daughter lives in Stewarton and I rely on her coming down, need to make time! I'm glad you're enjoying your new ride, I love mine, had an x-trail before and ok as it was, it just doesn't compare! Try and get some pics when you head north. Oh and watch out for yorkybob, if it ain't moving, he'll obviously cover it! Rolling with laughter

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Evening all. I'm possibly about to embark on my next LR "journey" and purchase my first FL2.
I've had a 2005 D3, a 2003 FL1 and I currently have a 1986 90 and a 2005 FL1.

I'm on Martin's other forums and thought I'd better join this one and introduce myself here, being a prospective owner.

A bit about me: I have a caravan, dog and young family so the FL2 should hopefully be a great car for me and my family.

Looking forward to trawlling through the miriad of threads to discover more about the FL2. Thumbs Up

new member

HI all just registered on this site, have had a 2007 Freelander 2 for 5 years, never had any trouble with it until lately.
slowly worked through it as had the 3 amigos coming on, and going off for no apparent reason, it has done 94k miles been regularly serviced by myself.
Now had to take it to an independent specialist and found the ABS pump module is having corrosion issues and seizing up, being changed this week.

But all in all love it Very Happy
