A search for "voicetags" on this forum gives a nil return.

The manual helpfully suggests that "Voicetags enable the user to .... so that a single name can be used to call up a navigation destination, tel number or radio channel", potentially quite useful.

Follow the instructions in the manual and it does indeed store a voicetag but most unhelpfully there is nothing to explain how to get the voicetag to do anything, apart from repeat itself!

Anyone any ideas on this?

I've got mine working ... Press voice command button steering wheel, wait for beep ... Say CALL VOICETAG... Car Should say which voice tag .. Say the one you have stored ... It will ask if you want to make call or cancel ... If you press set up on the radio buttons there is a tutorial and a voice coaching session under the phone or general settings .. Hope this help .. The car then replays your own voice tag back to you before calling really loud !! Bit nuts

Had a look at this today. If you press the SWYS button on the steering wheel, voicetags come up as an option when making a choice, eg destinations under navigation (but no option to use stored favourites... why?) or under phone choices... I haven't set any voicetags yet, so I don't know how well it works. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red
