VOVLO sat nav disks

I've been told that the disk in my 56 plate sat nav are from a VOLVO.
If I put the disk in my PC it has a volume number is 464110-8220.
Unfortunately the maps don't show the Rugby western by-pass which I use so I'd like to update again.
Can anybody tell me if I can upgrade from here using the latest (last ??) Freelander 2012-13 disks?
Do I have an option of using more Volvo disks? If so what should I get?

Also does this explain why my kids tell me I drive like a "granny"??

I think both Volvo and LR discs are produced by Navteq and are interchangeable. Without doing a search I seem to recall there are members on here who have updated from LR to Volvo discs as they were cheaper. On that basis should be no problem with updating from Volvo to LR or even Volvo to Volvo.

Someone did post to say Volvo disks did work, but unsure what edition you will need to find

Also just to remind people, the site will not tolerate links to any back disc or copies Exclamation Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Somebody pointed me to this topic forum from 2010 which is pretty informative:

I don't know if anybody ever finished documenting the denso hidden menu.
