I guess you use the heater but not the A/C so save fuel there. Wink

latest fuel usage

I've started recording fuel usage rather like you have Ub2. My latest fuel consumption for a TD4 Auto (in UK) was:-

Trip Type L/100K
Mixed highway & short trips with v cold starts 10.36 (over 399 miles)
Mainly highway and some town driving 11.27 (over 343 miles)

I do a lot of city driving and I put the TD4 into sports mode to get better response in traffic. To my surprise the fuel consumption seems to average out at about 1L per 100KM less than the regular auto mode.

I assume it's because I'm not having to plant my foot so hard to keep up with the traffic.

Nearly two months with my TD4 - done just about 4000ks and enjoyed driving every cm. Smile
A mixture of a daily commute of 70kms down the F2 and the weekend short trips round the city.
Actual consumption is rounding out at about 9.4 - 9.9 l/100km.
The trip computer always reads a bit low compared to my calculations.
