Seat belt shroud fault

On my 08 model, there is a pronounced groove that has been cut into the plastic shroud/cover in the 'B' pillar. Is there a fix or modified part for it? I'm concerned that the seat belt is going to fray badly - it looks like it might just be starting to fray slightly already. I can vauguely remember reading something about it once but I can't find it now. Was there a LR recall on this as it could be a safety concern? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

It was subject to a recall or a modification if I remember correctly, it is a safety issue as it frays the belt, maybe when you hear it snap one day you may think, hmm should have had that sorted Rolling Eyes

LR replaced only one side (drivers side). The belt was fine.
I'd say that there was/is no modification as its started to cut through the pastic again.
But yeah, get LR to take a look and see what action they will do with it.

Seat belt b post damage

As LR already have Liam and his new Lady colleague already 'attached' to this and other forums and as it is a safety issue why not message LR direct from the forum and ask the question?
Please keep this post updated with any LR replies.

Does anyone know if this was actually a recall or just a bulletin? My seat belt has fraying and the b piller is very worn, the car is a 2008 model so its well out of warranty now. Has anyone had this fixed for free out of warranty?

I'm told its not an not an mot fail which is hard to believe but there you go. What I have thought about as a temp measure until I replace the shroud is getting some like fish tank pipe and put it over the gash.... Just not worked out what size yet.
