To Tog or Not to Tog - Photography Meet

Taz mentioned this a little while ago

Who would be up for a day in the hills, coast, attraction doing a few photos, passing on tips and tricks and it's another excuse to meet up with photography in mind

Looking at venues in the Lakes at present, October time the colours are spe tabular as the trees start to change colour.
Sunsets around 6:30 in October, do not too late.
I will look into a venue with easy access and get back to you soon, the Premier Inn at Whitehaven can be had for £29 on Friday 5th October at the moment too Thumbs Up Refurbed 4 months back so it's like new.

So how does Saturday 6th October sound to people

Whitehaven might be good for the sea and shore photos
not too far away from the Hardknott pass for mountains and weather and sheep,
& mini Ratty Railway to Ravensglass
