Oi, don't you muppet me Laughing

Thye effect is called foreshortening, I was stood on your lawn using a telephoto lens, it compresses the distance between objects.

Those Landies were good subjects, the green one (a photo of) is going in a competition at the end of the month, will see how it does, you will have to let me know if more arrive, might pop round.

Excellent choice.... Cool

When I returned to SLR photography, after many years Whistle , I started with a D40, as that was Nikon's entry level DSLR at the time. I believe the functionality is very similiar, although the D3xxx series do have a higher spec. It was a few years before I ran out of functions, such as bracketing for HDR, and splashed out on a D90. Which I still haven't mastered yet... Embarassed

I'm sure you'll have loads more fun to come..... Thumbs Up

Noooo! Auto is crap on Nikons. Focus on all the wrong things! As in the 35mm days.
D90 is good though, wise buy Thumbs Up I love mine. Auto just the same as all Nikons, c Censored p! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
