Costco can't get them and Camskill can't get hold of them. The Michelin Latitude Cross is now obsolescent so you will only obtain them from someone who still has a stock of them. It's a shame as they are a good tyre. I have fitted them to my wife's FL 1 and they were very good in last winter's snow. 1982 RR Classic-converted to 200TDi-gone

They say they have them in stock, but it may be one of these companies that when you have paid they tell you they are out of stock Evil or Very Mad

They can't be that obsolescent as:

They're still listed on the Michelin website.
The 4 I have sitting in my garage have a Sept 2011 manufacturing date on them.

A lot of 4x4 tyres no longer fit with the new EU legislation on tyre road noise which is why they are so hard to find.
Not sure why as the legislation doesn't come into force until Nov 2012 but it seems to be a real problem right now. 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual

I recently fitted Goodyear wranglers, not because I wanted them but because I couldn't be bothered with the possible implications on H ratings and insurance.

Wish I hadn't as my MPG went from averaging 39mpg to 30mpg. Not happy at all.

Costco, do have a limited offer on 20% off theiralready discounted price) for a set of 4 tyres, but when I phoned the Leeds branch they could not get Latitude Cross in 17" but they could get Tour. The guy at Costco quoted me £525 fitted and balanced. Using this price as a baseline I went shopping around and the Manager at quick fit Bradford Thornbury tried to get me a set of Latitude Cross at the same price ( matching Costco) then also told me they were unavailable. In the he ordered in a set of 4 Pirelli Scorpion ATR for me £525 fitted and balanced. Dead impressed as I had taken a brand new set of 4 XS wheels in and the fitter balanced everything on the reverse for me with stick on weights so I don't have those scabby great lumps of lead clipped on my new rims, They de-mounted the old tyres and packed the old rims in the boot for me.

These tyres drive nicely, road noise is acceptable, and nothing stopped our Defender last year on 70% worn Falken ATR so Im sure these will be just the ticket

The new regulations do NOT ban noisy tyres, it simply insists that new tyres sold after 1.Nov 2012 are labelled with data that helps the consumer to make a better informed choice re tyre X vis Y - quiet or noisy - you choose. For example a noisier tyre may perform better at braking on solid ice but the competitor's quieter tyre brakes better in the rain or is less fuel efficient etc etc..

Just had 2 Michelin Latitude Cross tyres fitted yesterday due to the good reviews I had read previously. I can't advise on present availability though as the garage I use got them in about 6 weeks ago for me. I have just been getting maximum life out of the old tyres before changing.

I had a slight concern over increased noise levels with this being an A/T tyre but there is no difference to the Continental's which I have on previously.

They told me that during the last 20% offer. When I tried to order them, they couldn't even get a delivery date and Costco are supposed to deal directly with Michelin. Costco kept trying to sell me the Diarmaris or the Latitude Tour which I definitely didn't want. In the end I went back to Wranglers.
