Replacement part arrived from Dan and it snapped straight on, no fiddling, no gaps. Job done!

I read that too. It's good to see LRM covering the Freelander2. I've only been greenlaning on Salisbury Plain in mine but found it more than capable.

The tanks are plastic, and have a cradle that offer no protection.
The tank guard is on my wish-list as I know someone who bent the tank cradle.
