Just noticed today that on the inside edge of each front door there is a hole that corresponds to a raised area on the b pillar, which looks like there should be some sort of buffer. Should there be a buffer on the door and it has fallen out , or where they only fitted to some cars as a way of making up for panel alignment issues.
If there should be one are they just a standard fit or adjustable and does anyone know the part number.

Think this is what you need, about 80p plus the Vat from the Dealer, oddly come in a bag of five if the Dealer won't split them.

These fall out very easily usually when i'm cleaning inside the door.

They only have two on the Freelander and four on the RRS and Disco, makes you wonder why they supply the Dealer with them in bags of five

It is because they keep falling off!

Thanks for the replies. i may get a couple of spares as well considering they aren't too badly priced for a piece of land rover rubber, either that or use it as an excuse for not cleaning the car too thoroughly.

Can you provide a pic of the intended hole, as there is none whatsoever on a MY2013, save for an area where they have clearly pumped wax into. Foraging near Gaydon....

Can't show you a picture, you know why, but it's on the bottom corner of the two front doors, the rubber on the door will just touch the bottom of the B Pillar.

Found a picture, the picture shows the hole where the buffer should be, so this one is bereft of the rubber also, the hole is the one in the bottom left corner just blow the sticker.

just checked the car and they have deleted the hole.

Dedication, 10.34pm and he pops out to have a look.
